Analyzing Dutch Media and its Relationship to Politics One of the key functions of the media is to provide information to the public. But, how does the media shape our understanding of the political events and issues that potentially affect our lives, particularly in a country such as the Netherlands? In the Netherlands, traditional, left-leaning and right-wing newspapers all exist, creating a sometimes-contentious relationship between politics and the media. In this article, we will analyze how the media and politics interact in the Netherlands.
