Exploring Dutch Aging Population – Its Emergence and Impact

With a population increase and rapidly aging population, the Netherlands has faced a unique set of challenges in their society, with the consequences of this phenomenon having a greater impact on the nation than in some other countries in the European Union. How exactly has the country addressed this issue, and what has been the long-term impact on its population?

The Netherlands is not an outlier when it comes to having an increasing population. The country’s population is expected to reach 17.6 million by 2040, making it one of the most densely populated countries in Europe, with an aging population that is projected to continue growing steadily.
